Biography
First Class undergraduate degree in Mathematics (4 year) at University of Oxford.
PhD under the Supervision of Prof. Simon Tavare at University of Cambridge. Thesis Title: Exploring Nonlinear Regression Methods, with Application to Association Studies.
Research Summary
I work on developing statistical methodology for analysing genome-wide association study data. I am particularly interested in SNP-based heritability analysis, and have demonstrated a number of ways the method can be used to investigate the genetic architecture of complex traits. I have produced the software LDAK for computing more accurate kinship matrices, which is available at http://www.ldak.org.

Teaching Summary
Teaching assistant for Advanced Human Genetics and Genetics of Human Diseases (UCL), and Short Courses in Genetic Epidemiology (LSHTM).
